davidbhayes — 12 years ago — permalinkI'm much more patient with other people. The primary thing I feel like meditation has given me is space. Space between my thoughts and feelings and my vision of what's really happening. This space gives me time to be more deliberate and careful when speaking, and as a result I'm much less prone to shouting in anger or other things I feel I used to do pretty regularly.

joyhappiness — 9 years ago — permalinkI have found that where once I was reactive to criticism and things I perceived as attacks, these days I am more 'yeah whatever' and let comments go. This helps in relationships because I am just more of a 'laugh it off' kind of guy, less serious. I put a lot of that down to meditation practice.

NEBULABUFF — 7 years ago — permalinkI think the best impact meditation has had on my relations with other people is that I believe it has made me far more patient with others and less reactionary to stressful situations. Also, I think I spend more time actively listening to others and respond only when I have something possibly useful to say.
